Girl gangs, female collectives, new businesswomen and creative female teams… Women are successfully establishing their creative power and seizing control of the cultural, social and business scenes.
As girl gangs inspire us and shake up fashion lines, Who’s Next is inviting girl groups to the heart of their January 2017 edition: with a selection of exclusive brands and pop-up stores, guest influencers, a music programme, a unique scenography…
Here is the Q&A by a foodlover #girlsquad cooking special dishes for the VIP anr Press offices at #wsn17 this January!
How was your #girlsquad created?
The recipe is very simple: mix some elbow grease with a large dose of energy, a hint of craziness and a pinch of spice. Simmer everything in a pan of enthusiasm and add in your best girl friends – HOPLA!
What is your profession?
We create food in a very unique way, cosmic or more classic banquets, amazing presentation and innovative treats!
What does a #girlsquad mean to you?
A girlsquad is like a cake recipe! A beautiful pastry that catches your eye and wakes up your tastes buds!
What is your background?
We were apprentices at the Beaux-Arts in Reims, we got a taste for culinary design from the outset of our studies. Then we thrived on design and graphic experiences in order to create the craft we had always dreamed of.
What is the origin of your brand’s name?
From Alsace! A shared passion for pretzels and sausages…
Why did you choose this industry?
Because it allows us to combine our hunger for creativity with our thirst for friendly encounters!
What do you like most about your job?
The joy of knowing that everyday is different but always motivating!
The pleasure of sharing what we’ve created directly with the public.
What are your projects for 2017?
To cultivate our desire even more for creating collective, exciting and even tropical projects!
Would you like to do any collaborations in the future?
Always! We love to take on the spiciest possible challenges!
Combining the sectors is what is most creatively versatile as collaborations always enable a project to be the best it can!
What are your inspirations?
The folklore and culinary traditions of France and Navarre, mixed with popular and contemporary culture!
What is your favorite place in Paris?
La Halle Papin in Pantin, it’s the colourful spot of our Soukmachines collective!!
What is your biggest dream?
To recreate the world as a spicy bread!
Who are your fashion icons?
We don’t really have one in particular, but we like to mix between the vintage of Dalida, the bohemian of Loulou de la Falaise and the rock of David Bowie!!!
