The 33rd edition of the International Festival of Fashion, Photography and Fashion Accessories at Hyères finished this Monday 30th April. The finalists presented their collections to the jury, presided over by Haider Ackermann, and after deliberation, the results were:

Rushemy Botter & Lisi Herrebrugh
Grand Prize for Fashion: Rushemy Botter & Lisi Herrebrugh
An engaged men’s collection was presented during the designers’ catwalk. The collection, “Fish or Fight” salutes Caribbean style and inspires an image of the future of fashion design that is responsible, enthusiastic and strong.
The designers showed off their values through powerful pieces, turning products found on the beach and in the sea into accessories, such as belts made of fishing nets and hats made from buoys…

Marie-Eve Lecavalier
Chloé Prize & Special Mention of the Jury: Marie-Eve Lecavalier
Urban and contemporary, Marie-Eve Lecavalier mixed high-quality materials with recycled denim, whilst playing with the dimensions of her so-called ‘exaggerated’ designs.

Ester Manas
Galeries Lafayette Prize: Ester Manas
For her collection ‘Big Again’, the designer challenged the limits of standard model sizes, reconciling clothing with the body.

Sarah Bruylant
Public Prize – City of Hyères: Sarah Bruylant
With ensembles of imposing colours and shapes, the Belgian designer Sarah Bruylant distinguished herself thanks to her graphic, dotted style which could be found on almost all of her silhouettes.
