Adrien_Dubuisson_Photographies-2For the September 2016 edition, the WHO’S NEXT and PREMIERE CLASSE trade shows invite to share and exchange in “Upcycling”, the art of transforming recovered materials into high-quality goods.

On the 8th June, Who’s Next invited 7 French and international designers to spend the day at the Eureka warehouse in Rouen, home to the 20,000 m2 worth of stock by the famous second-hand clothing stores Kiliwatch and Hippy Market.

Dead stocks + Up-cycling = (RE)CREATE

ManéMané studio (Spain), Second St. (Lebanon), Sakina Front de Mode (France), Delphine Dénéréaz (France), Louis Gabriel Nouchi (France), Workoncustom (Italy), Sea For Sinnerman (France) picked out the various items that they had selected to customise and upcycle.

For instance, Sarah Hermez and Tracy Moussi, the designers at Second St. sorted through hundreds of military jackets to find those from which they will fashion 20 exclusive pieces, all reworked in line with their individual style and creativity.

Designers tell us everything about their inspirations and Upcycling!

Vintage clothing enthusiasts will have the unique opportunity to purchase the designs from 1st September 2016, the opening date of the (RE)CREATE Pop Up Store at Kiliwatch in Paris.
