Cristina Junquero

Founded by Cristina Junquero in Barcelona, this jewellery brand which is reinterpreting traditional Andalusian jewellery with strong religious symbolism. She mimics the religious stereotypes of amulets and medals, reinterpreting their shapes, icons and details to achieve a subtle blend of tradition and modernity.

Every piece of jewellery is handmade, in her ateliers, in silver and brass, dipped in an 18-karat gold. The gold used is always recycled and the jewel case is made from scraps of old haberdashery fabrics.
