How was your #girlsquad created?
Starting with family and together with other young girls who have the same view on fashion and life.

What does a #girlsquad mean to you?

What is your background?
Exploring new opportunities, to understand and inspire young people and to create something that makes other people happy.

What is the origin of your brand’s name?
NOLA.NOVA is a storytelling Amsterdam based brand. NOLA is the girl we make collections for. She discovers NOVA (new in Latin) things in life and all these adventures inspires us to make our collections.

Why did you choose this industry?
To show the world that fashion and especially clothing can really mean something.

What do you like most about your job?
To make people happy with the clothing we create which we do with a lot of enthusiasm and love for the industry.

nnss17_rockstar-jacketWhat are your thoughts about fashion today? On the French and international scene?
Not a lot of people really see and respects fashion. They just follow the mainstream and the media. Buy the cheapest and in their eyes fashionable clothing but do not realize what they are buying and wearing. People should look a lot better to the quality of clothing, origin of fabric qualities and the background of the brand before you decide what to buy.

Why are you exhibiting at Who’s Next?
To explore, expand and meeting new inspiring people. Set out adventures, collaborations and of course to let people from outside the Netherlands get to know about NOLA.NOVA.

What are your projects for 2017?
Making bigger collections, set up a great marketing campaign!

Would you like to do any collaborations in the future?
Yes we’re always in for a nice collab!

What is your favourite place in Paris?
Can’t pick one, I love the whole city!

What is your biggest dream?
To conquer the world with NOLA.NOVA and let everybody now that Attitude is everything!
