Winner of the Urban category of design talent competition, The Future Of Fashion Program, this designer will returning to the Who’s Next trade show from 2nd to 5th September 2016.

With his brand, Mai-Gidah, English designer Alec Ali Abdul Rahim reclaims the eccentricities of anglo-saxon style. Driven by a desire to transgress the norms of traditional “British” fashion, with his Ghanaian and Belgian roots this young designer creates flashy collections and lines that are at once simple and daring. Mai-Gidah is defined by the simplicity and modernity of its designs, each collection reflecting the many experiences and paths followed by the designer. His is a talent that cannot be ignored.
Which is, of course, why Alec Ali Abdul Rahim won the Urban category of The Future Of Fashion Program, organised by the Who’s Next trade show, with his A/W 2016-17 collection. He will be returning to the Who’s Next trade show from 2nd to 5th September 2016 to showcase his new S/S 2017.
